The Shelby County Human Resources Council is comprised of Human Resources Professionals whose business is based in Shelby County.

Statements of Mission and Purpose

To establish personal and professional communications between human relations personnel within commerce and industry.

To share growth oriented and problem resolution successes and ideas in “roundtable”.

To provide a forum to address human relations issues and concerns of mutual interest.

To provide training and educational programming to promote sound human relations management.

To conduct and compile an annual wage and benefits survey for the benefit of Council members.

Meeting Details:

There are monthly meetings on the fourth Thursday of each month at 12:00 Noon (except November and December), typically at the Hampton Inn (if there is a different meeting location, that information will be sent in monthly meeting reminder e-mail). Reservations should be made by calling the Chamber of Commerce at 492-9122, e-mailing Dawn Eilert at deilert@sidneyshelbychamber.com or registering online at www.sidneyshelbychamber.com under Upcoming Events several days prior to an upcoming meeting (meeting reminders will be sent out via e-mail approximately two weeks prior).

Annual Dues:

The annual dues are $110.00 per Chamber member. Businesses must be a member of the Chamber of Commerce to participate in this council. This dues amount prepays your meals for one attendee (of your choice) to attend all HRC meetings for the year (typically 12 meetings). The HRC year runs from March of the current year through February of the following year. Additional guests may attend any of the meetings at a cost of $8.50 (unless otherwise noted).
